These are cases involving family or household members. The charges include domestic batteries, telephone harasement, assault, and criminal damage to property. If a person is found guilty or pleads guilty to domestic battery a coviction goes on that person's record.

The Defendant was accused of attacking her sister in a crowded supermarket. During a bench trial, we were able to show that the sister changed her story several times, and proved to the Judge that our client was acting in self defense. The Judge found our client Not Guilty.

Our client's ex-husband accused her of beating him up with brass knuckles. After the Judge heard the ex-husband caught in numerous lies, he found our client not guilty after only his testimoney, and before we could even call our witnesses.

Police accused our client of striking his girlfriend. Even though the girlfriend said it did not happen, the State picked up the case. At the time of trial, our client was on parole for murder. Losing the case would have meant 10 years in jail. We took it to trial and won.

Our client's ex-girlfriend accused him of pushing her down the stairs while she was eight months pregnant. We were able to convince the prosecutor and the Judge that the charges were fabricated, and the felony was dismissed.

Our client could not post bond and was forced to plead guilty to a crime he did not commit. After he was released from jail, we brought the case back to court and convinced the Judge and the State's Attorney of his innocence, and all charges were dropped.

Police charged our client with striking his daughter with a stick to discpline her. Police were brought into the case by school officials. After interviewing all of the parties, we were able to prove that our client acted appropriately.
